Just dropping by to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Snowmen A to Zzzz is put together now just need to do the fly stitch along the seams. So pleased with how it turned out so far.
My sister made me a gingerbread train. I have been admiring it for the last couple of days but think I will give into temptation tonight and eat some. She makes the best gingerbread.
My boss gave me these beautiful flowers. They come in a little basket which made it easy to carry home on the train.
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope Santa brings you something nice.
Until next time happy stitching.

FNSI
Last night I decided to start something new.
A couple of weeks ago I purchased a few Cinderberry Stitches kits when I was down in Geelong. I couldn't resist a new pattern called Pippa.
Isn't she cute? I plan to put the quilt top together whilst I am on holidays.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas it has been fun stitching with you all.
Thanks Wendy for hosting a lovely evening.
Happy stitching.

Some Finishes
In the last week or so I have managed to finish a few things.
Two quilts all bound and finished. Lucky I did the binding last week it is going to be 40 degrees here tomorrow not ideal for sewing binding.
Two Christmas decorations.
Blocks 4 of Cornelian. These just needs the centres done but I am hoping the fabrics for that come with the next block which is due this week. I am all up to date on this one and any so enjoying making it. I choose to use the Cottage Garden Threads option and they are so lovely to work with.
Until next time happy stitching.

Friday Night With Friends
I had another lovely productive evening.
Firstly I quilted my Baby Love quilt now all that I need to do is put the binding on.
I had intended to put the binding on last night but I decided to watch the Nelson Mandela specials on tv. What an amazing man he was. Instead I did some hand stitching and finished of the O block from my Snowmen A to Zzzz. I only have a few more blocks left to complete.
And this morning I picked up my Carousel quilt from the long arm quilter. It has come up really nice. It is the first time I have used this long arm quilter Jemima's Creative Quilting. The turnaround time was about six weeks so I was super excited that it was done so quickly. I left my Swoon Quilt to be quilted next. I have a few tops packed away that I want to get quilted.
A close up of the quilting.
Thanks to Cheryll for hosting.

Some finishes and new things
I have managed to finish a couple of things. I have taken these photos outside but because I only have a very small back yard I couldn't stand straight in front of the clothes line as there is a wall there so they are on a bit of an angle.
First up is my Round and Round quilt using Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie & Camille and it is one of Camille's patterns. I think I will get this one professionally quilted.
Merry Merry Snowmen by Bunny Hill Designs all finished ready for Christmas. I have purchased a Hang It Dang It hanger so I can hang this one up just have to work out where to hang it wall space is limited but I may need to jig a few things around.
Some close ups. I love Snowmen!
L7 finished and ready for wrapping.
Summer Bouquet ready for quilting. Just have to think about how I would like to do it. Gail hand quilted hers but I can never get my top flat enough when I hand quilt so I am thinking I may machine quilt as I know I won't be happy if it is not flat.
And because I have finished some things I just got more for the to do pile. I went to the Piccadilly Market in Geelong and Cinderberry Stitches had a stall so I had to get a few kits just because I could.
A couple of other little purchases from the market could not resist the Gingerbread Man brooch and the hair clips are a little present for a friend's little girl so cute.
I am off to finish decorating the tree.
