Finished Projects

In the last few weeks I have managed to complete a few projects.  This has worked out very well as some are Christmas presents for my nephews and niece who live in Katherine and fortunately my sister will be coming to Melbourne next weekend so she can take them back with her.  I was a little nervous about sending them in the post so luckily she has a work function to attend and very lucky they are ready.

 This is Thomas' quilt.

The Big Red Car has a personalised number plate.
I thought you may like to see some of the lovely long arm quilting done by Lucy and it showed up in the photo really well on the part of the backing that was white.

This is Mikayla's quilt and my absolute favourite of the quilts I have made for my nieces and nephews am having a bit of trouble parting with this one.  Lucky her name is on it.

Lucy did the quilting on this one as well and has done a great job.

This is my final stocking (I think not sure if I have forgotten some one).

This is Lynette Anderson's block for 2011 Quilt Aid.  I am slowly getting there.  I think if I remember correctly I have four to go.

Until next time happy stitching.

Christmas Stitching & More

I have been working on a few Christmas projects and have even managed to complete one of the QFD Christmas in July projects.

Gail Pan's QFD Christmas in July project.  I had it sitting there waiting to sew on the binding for ages so I finally got around to doing it.

One of the projects from Lynette Anderson's Stitch for Christmas book using her Christmas Fun range of fabrics.
Block 4 of the Fat Quarter Shop's Mystery BOM.

Two more blocks from my Quilt Aid Quilt.  Five more to go but some are half done.

Four more blocks from my Merry Merry Snowmen Quilt.  Just waiting for the last block to arrive then I can put it all together.

Hope to catch up with everyone during QFD's Let's Stitch.

Until new time happy stitching.
