Christmas Gifts

I haven't quite lived up to the challenge I set myself but I decided to finish the single bed quilts that I have had on the go my Thomas, Joshua and Mikayla and give them to them for Christmas.  Joshua's is totally finished and has been delivered to my sister to keep until Christmas.  I have sent Thomas' off to the long arm quilter but I forgot to take a photo will do that when it returns.  Mikayla's needed to have a bit of work done to it so I have been madly stitching away and have made great progress.

Three of the blocks all stitched together.

This block needs to be stitched to the previous blocks.

 Part of the top border.

Part of the bottom border need to finish the blanket stitching and add the butterfly once the rest of the border is added.

Another block just need to stitch the eyes of the bottom cat.
So I am getting there hopefully I will have it all together by next week well that is my aim.

Unless I get distracted.  My parcel of CIJ kits arrived in the post which is tempting me but at the moment I am stay strong.

I just wanted to show you this beautiful neaklace I purchased whilst I was in Darwin.  I just love it.  It is hand made and one of a kind.  You can find them Crazi Mosaics very tempting.

Until next time happy stitching.
