Christmas In July

Quilt Fabric Delights is running Christmas in July which begins tomorrow so this week I got into the Christmas spirit and worked on a Christmas project.

It is designed by Hugs n Kisses and will eventually be a tree skirt.  There are eight more stitcheries to go.

Until next time happy stitching

Stash Busting

Finally got back to some stash busting.  Not sure that it is working the stash doesn't seem any smaller but I did have fun.

It is an Arrowhead block and the pattern had an easy way to put it together.  I now have to decide which blocks to put where as every block is different.  Decision time.

Until next time happy stitching

Blanket Stitching

This week I have been doing a lot of blanket stitching.

I managed to get a layer cake of the Ruby range of fabric and am making a quilt from my Simplify book.  This fabric is really lovely.

This is block 1 of my Christmas block of the month Baltimore Christmas.  There is a lot of work in this quilt so it is going probably take two years or more as I am a couple of blocks behind the class after being away.

This is part of my leaf table runner.  I got this pattern whilst I was in Canada am now up to putting it together.

Until next time happy stitching

Sewing

Finally back sewing and with some time at home I have finished a couple of things.

This is a coaster set which I am using for a Christmas present which is why it isn't in my usual brights.  This pattern was from a magazine and was easy to put together.

This is a Natalie Ross design called Lou Lou which I have made out of some left over Bliss fabrics.  I used red flower buttons instead of of self covered buttons.

Until next time happy stitching.
