Happy Travels

Finally have some time to do a post.

Have been having a wonderful time and have taken many photos which I will post up when I get home much easier as I have so many to choose from to show.

I have found some lovely quilt shops on my travels so now have a few more projects to add to the stash.

Western Canada is really special and I can highly recommend it as a trip.  Whilst in Banff it snowed which is the first time I have ever been in the snow.

I have also done the Alaskan Cruise which was really something.  I did a helicopter flight landing on two glaciers.  I also tried my hand or should I say breath at glass blowing took a bit of effort but I managed to make a small bauble.  Apparently the colours show better if it is small.

After the cruise I flew to Toronto to meet up for my second tour.  I spent my birthday at Niagra Falls getting soaked on the Maid of the Mist fun.  Have been to Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and today we have arrived in the United States and have today and tomorrow at Bar Harbor.

Until next time happy stitching

Rocky Mountain High

I haven't have much of a chance to blog as I have been so busy each day and by the time I get back to the hotel you either had to pay for internet access or I have been too tired.

The scenery is unbelievable and I have taken over 700 photos!!!

We have seen lots of wildlife including Grizzly Bears which is very rare.  In Banff it snowed which was very exciting to open the drapes and see it snowing as I have never been to the snow before now.  We are now in Jasper and tomorrow we head off on the Rocky Mountaineer Train.
Canda Eh Lovely!

Sorry I can't download photos at the moment.  It is very hard to describe how beautiful it is as there is something special around every corner.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to blog before I left for my big trip to Canada and the USA.  I am currently in Victoria and have already been to Vancouver.  I have already managed to find a quilt store The Cloth Shop which was really beautiful and of course I had to make some purchases.  They had their own pattern line so I had to get a couple which you can't get in Australia.

Just some yummy treats we found (we did resist but for how long).  They did look yummy but they were very big and I assume very sweet.

Must go as we are off to dinner.

Happy stitching
