An Injury but still still stitching

I have spent the week at the doctors (twice) getting an x-ray and being fitted with a special boot.  I have been diagnosed with a stress fracture of the second metatarsal (toe) and this is what I will be wearing for the next eight weeks.

I have almost finished by second block from Tail Feathers just a tiny bit of blanket stitching to be done.

And have started on the third block.

I do love the birds so cute.

Until next time happy stitching.

Bagalicious Club - Bag 2

Look what I received in the post this week.

Yes it is the next bag.  I have been a bit side tracked and haven't finished the first one (naughty naughty) but I am having some time off work soon so I intend to do lots of sewing and the bags are at the top of the list (I think it may be a long list).  I love this fabric.

Whilst I haven't made my bags I haven't been idle.  I have made a quillow.

Cute Raggedy Anns and Andys.  I am giving it to my niece Mikayla for her birthday.  I decided at not quite 1 she wouldn't be looking at my blog just yet.

Until next time happy stitching.

Presents

I can finally show the present I made for my friend Janet for her "special" birthday.  She had her party yesterday.

This is the front.

And this is the back.

It is a design by Bronwyn Hayes of Red Brolly.  Janet is a cat person so I did the cat brown to match Janet's cat Macka who is adorable and the red and black outfit is for the AFL football team Essendon who we both barrack for.

Until next time happy stitching.

Block of the Month

We had our second block of the month class on Saturday morning.  This is the progress for this month.

The birds are so cute.  Our next class is 27th March so not long away due to the Easter break.

We have a public holiday today so I am spending the afternoon stitching much better than having to go to work.

Until next time happy stitching.
